A cleared driveway does not help much if the path to your front door is still buried. Walks and steps are included in residential service, and they are cleared on the same visit as the drive rather than on a second trip later in the day.

Snow Hauling
Every property has a finite amount of room to stack snow, and a long winter finds that limit. Sight lines go first — backing into the street past a bank taller than the car — and then the usable width of the drive starts closing in from both sides. Downtown Wayzata hits that wall earliest, because there is no open ground to push toward in the first place.
Once the banks are full, the snow gets relocated to open ground elsewhere on the property or hauled off it entirely, instead of getting stacked higher.

What Wayzata Snow Service Costs

Three things move that number: how big the drive is, how much walk and step work comes with it, and whether the snow has somewhere to go once the banks fill.
What Sets the Price:
Size of the drive. The standard is up to two cars wide, about 20 feet, and up to 60 feet long, or roughly 1,200 square feet. A drive wider than three cars, longer than 60 feet, or finished with a courtyard or turnaround at the top costs more, since each extra 1,000 square feet is about one more pass. An approach drive over 150 feet gets its own quote.
Walks and steps. Standard service covers up to 50 linear feet of walk and up to four steps. A side or service door, a walk that wraps the house, or a full flight of stairs is hand work, and it's priced higher per foot than open walk.
Room to stack. Open ground at the end of the drive with space for a full season adds nothing. Walls, beds or plantings tight to the pavement, or a drive that dead-ends at the garage, add to the price. Relocation and hauling are quoted separately and usually only come up on a tight site in a heavy winter.
Seasonal or per push. Seasonal service is one price paid monthly, November through April. Per push is also available; call and we'll talk through whether it suits the property.
Every figure here assumes a 2 inch trigger. A tighter trigger changes the price more than the size of the drive does, so a property that wants close to bare pavement all winter is priced individually.
Winter Route Coverage in Wayzata
